The MSZ-EF Series room air conditioner, meets the demands for improved energy efficiency while fitting in elegantly with home interiors. The air conditioner has minimal shaping, with all waste carved away. It has a unique aerodynamic design that lets it dispense with the open front grill and create a more attractive appearance as it runs. At the same time, it provides excellent energy-saving performance from its thin profile. The product is available in white, black, or silver to match a wide array of interiors.
Wi-Fi Control
This innovative technology connects your domestic Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners to your smartphone, tablet or online account, giving you the freedom to fully control each unit on-the-go via an Internet connection. Optional additional adapter MAC-568IF-E required per unit.

Red Dot Award 2015
The MSZ-EF Series (known as Kirigamine Zen in Japan and Europe), received the Red Dot Award 2015 for room air conditioner design. Statement by the jury: "The Kirigamine Zen (MSZ-EF Series) presents a convincing symbiosis of energy-saving technology and minimalist, elegant design."
IF Design Award
The premium wall mounted model has been awarded the iF product design award 2011. This design award is one of the most renowned and oldest design awards worldwide. The jury of international experts picked 993 winners of the iF product design award this year from the 2756 submissions. The iF product design award was awarded for the 57th time. The criteria applied by the jury included quality of design, workmanship, choice of materials, degree of innovation, environmental friendliness, functionality, ergonomics, intuitive use, safety, brand values and aspects of universal design. The premium wall mounted unit was able to convince the jury in all areas.
Good Design Award 2014
The Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-EF Series was awarded the Good Design Award 2014 by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.
