Full HD Presentations You Can Take With You

2010-02-10

Mitsubishi Electric Australia today announced the availability of a new premium full HD portable projector. With a native 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 4000 ANSI lumens brightness and compact 3.8kg design, the FD630U reproduces clear, vivid full high definition images in an easy to transport package.

Mitsubishi Electric FD630U HD projector“The higher the resolution, the more impressive your presentations can be” said Stuart Baker, Senior Manager of Mitsubishi Electric Visual Information Systems division. “With its native 1080p resolution, the FD630U allows users to include larger amounts of information with eye-catching, high-impact visuals. Its portability adds even greater functionality to the projector, giving users the ability to transport the FD630U between rooms or buildings quickly and easily”.

The FD630U features a built in RJ-45 port, giving maintenance or production teams the ability to remotely manage the projector from their laptop or PC via a LAN. The new Visual PA2 feature, which provides message display and voice announcement functions, allows pre-created emergency messages to be sent simultaneously to all projectors connected on the LAN. Another capability of the software is the ability to recognise messages entered via the keyboard and providing a verbal announcement, increasing the impact of the message.

The FD630U HD projector is equipped with a 1.5x high-powered zoom lens, making large screen sizes possible even when projection distance is short. The low fan noise of 29dBA enables users to be heard clearly whilst presenting without the need to raise their voice to compete. A built-in 10W speaker allows the user to broadcast audio from the projector without the need of an external speaker. Additionally, the “Audio Mix” feature gives the FD630U the ability to output audio from two separate devices, with independent volume control of each audio input.
