Ultimate in home comfort with intelligent air conditioning system from Mitsubishi Electric

Mitsubishi Electric Australia announced today the release of the MSZ-FH series of residential air conditioning systems with features that ensure optimal temperature control and provide a natural airflow system.

Intelligence has been built into the MSZ-FH air conditioning series. For example, the 3D i-see Sensor scans the entire room and divides it into 752 three-dimensional zones, measuring the temperature in each to detect the exact position of its occupants based on their heat signatures. This allows for the perfect amount of heating or cooling to be customised based on preference of the individual.

The 3D i-see Sensor also acts as an intuitive occupancy sensor, able to detect when you leave the room. When no-one is in the room, the unit automatically switches to energy-saving mode. The 3D i-see Sensor detects people’s absence and the power consumption is automatically reduced approximately 10% after 10 minutes and 20% after 60 minutes.

MSZ-FH series also introduces Natural Flow, an airflow function, which is able to reproduce real air movements causing a sense of comfort based on actual wind speed measurements recorded in the Japanese Kirigamine Highland in the Nagano Prefecture, known for its comfortable climate in summer.

Air purification is handled by the Plasma Filter System, an advanced, multi-stage filtration system designed to effectively neutralise contaminants such as allergens, viruses and bacteria ensuring the circulation of fresh, clean air back into the room. The Plasma Filter is charged with an electrical field and acts as a micro mesh ‘curtain’ across the air inlet opening, effectively catching dust particles, allergens, bacteria and viruses. In addition, two air purifying filters and a deodorising filter effectively neutralise odours from the air. This level of advanced filtration system is ideal for those suffering from Asthma and other airborne allergies.

Unique dual split vane design allows airflow to be customised to suit different areas of the room, by independently directing air upwards, downwards or to the side. This flexibility can also prevent air from striking obstacles or direct air to areas that require additional heating or cooling. Dual split vane airflow is ideal for multi-level hallways in homes.
